Flag & Review Policy

Last updated September 29, 2026

1. What flagging is

Any reply can be reported for review if there is a serious problem with it, such as fraud, a terms or community violation, or serious abuse. Reporting is not for quality dissatisfaction, which belongs in your rating.

2. How to flag

Open the conversation, choose Report a problem, pick the closest reason, and describe it. The reasons are: suspected fraud or scam, impersonation, harassment or abusive content, off-platform solicitation or circumvention, or another serious terms violation.

3. What happens next

Nothing is decided automatically. A person on the Industry Intros team reads the question, the answer, and your note, and may contact either side for context.

4. Outcomes

Reporting a problem is not a request for your money back. A delivered answer is not refundable, and accountability for an answer you were disappointed by is the rating system, not money back. If the reply stands, the payment finalizes. A confirmed call that did not take place is a separate thing and is not covered by this policy: nothing was delivered, so the payment goes back as set out in Payment Disclosures section 3. For work that WAS delivered, Industry Intros may reverse a payment only at its own discretion, and only for confirmed fraud, a terms or community violation, or a card chargeback; any such reversal is all-or-nothing and, where one is due, returns to your original payment method through Stripe. How soon it appears depends on your bank and is outside Industry Intros's control. A person reads every report and acts on what it shows.

5. Timing

We do not put a clock on a review. A person does the reading, and how long it takes depends on what they find and who they need to speak to. Reporting does not hold the money: a delivered answer is paid for and the expert is paid, and that does not wait on the review. A reversal happens only if the review confirms fraud, a terms violation, or serious abuse, at Industry Intros's discretion; it is never an automatic refund for a delivered answer.

6. After the window

When an answer is delivered, the payment finalizes. You have 24 hours from delivery to report a serious problem from the conversation itself, and that is the same whether the expert sent you a text answer or you had a voice or video call. A call counts as delivered when it ends, so its 24 hours runs from there. After that, and for anything the in-conversation report does not cover, such as an expert profile or another user, email support@industryintros.com from your account email. That address is the reporting channel for everything else, and a report sent there is handled the same way. No report is refused because it arrived by email.

7. For experts

A single flag is not a penalty and does not touch your stats on its own. We look at patterns, not one-offs. Declining a question is always free for the buyer and never counts against your completion rate.

8. Fair use of flags

Flags are for whether the answer delivered on what was asked, not for disagreeing with an honest opinion. Misusing flags to avoid paying for real answers can limit your ability to flag.
